To TEX and the rest of you

Great game man enjoy the torch for it is now in your teams hand. They played amazing and deserved the victory. Young will be a great player in the NFL someday after winning another national title next year.

LOL Young would be crazy not to declare after tonight. What's he going to stay around for? You have to think he locked himself into the top five with this performance right here.

LA, what a fantastic game. USC has nothing to be ashamed of.

Why? He has nothing left to achieve. He just won a National Championship by taking the team on his shoulders and literally running with it. I would be VERY surprised if he returned after this performance tonight.

And it's probably going to cost him some money, since (1) Reggie Bush looks to be the first overall pick above Leinart, and (2) now after tonight, some are already speculating that Young might have potentially leapfrogged Leinart as the top QB this year. Also, had Leinart known Norm Chow was headed to Tennessee and leaving USC, he probably would have declared.

Young isn't going to come in and play right away if he comes out, but I would seriously question whoever he's getting his advice from if he doesn't decide to come out after this bowl game.

Re: To TEX and the rest of you

Dont get me wrong Tex I think he would be crazy not to declare. I think Matt was dumb for staying with USC. One injury and your NFL contract is gone. I just think since he said he was gonna stay that he will. You know Bush still has not said Im coming. he really wants to stay in CA and S.F. cant get him this year.

Re: To TEX and the rest of you

Vince Young tonight: 30/40 for 267 yards, also 19 carries for 200 yards and 3 TDs. Perhaps the greatest individual bowl performance of all time, and a national championship on top of it. The only thing Young comes back for is, what, a Heisman trophy? Please. It would be incredibly foolish for Young to stay in school at this point, because his stock will NEVER be as high as it is right now.

Re: To TEX and the rest of you

First off I'd like to say that VY must have an alias. Something like Clark Kent.

Second, that has to be one of the worst officiated games that I have ever seen. And it went both ways but, all and all I think Matt Mconahay (who cares how you spell his name) promised autographs for all of the Ref's wives.

Third, Wow, what a game!!!

P.S. USC recruit some defense..

Re: To TEX and the rest of you

Hook 'em Horns, Tx. Awesome game. Being a Big 12 guy, I have seen him play many games this year. However, that was by far the single best performance that I have ever seen by a player...Congrats to your team...Unbelievable game!!
