i think hedgehunter could be the first back to back winner since red rum in 1974 but i wont be betting on him as i never go for the top favourite,mind you i aint "won" the national since rhyme&reason in 1989!

my money is on ross comm(always go for a silver horse if theres one in the race),silver birch(welsh jockey) and a real outside bet even tho he was the 2003 favourite in shotgun willie(mainly because its the name of one of my favourite willie nelson albums!) shotgun willie was 349-1 yesterday as since being favourite in 2003 he hasnt done much atall,there has been a lot of late betting on him and he is now 100-1-some reports say coral alone will lose £4 million if shotgun willie wins today!
