We shall see.
I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch but it looks like if the LAKERS have beat to the SPURS it will probably be somewhere in San Antonio on a golf course. Of course after the Lakers take the crown from whoever comes out of the East.

CHEERS!!!

Lakers lost Game 3, their first defeat of the playoffs.

Luckily my Cavs are back in the series against Boston now only down 2-1. Go Cavs!

Re: LAKERS #1 seed in the WEST

The West is getting very interesting now, both the Jazz and Spurs knew they had to win both home games and they did. If they had only won one of the games @ 3-1 down they would be on their way out. But at 2-2 and with momentum who knows, still think the Lakers and Hornets win but it could take all 7 games in both series..

Which is longer? The NBA season or the NBA post-season?

Re: LAKERS #1 seed in the WEST

Duncan was sick with the flu the first two games of the Hornets series, now that he's healthy the Spurs are playing much better. Game 5 is the key to the series. If the Spurs win tonight, they will win again Thursday at home.

Re: LAKERS #1 seed in the WEST

The Lakers are too strong at home even if it go's to game seven they will get this thing rapped up. As far as the hornets go they dont have the defense to stop the triangle. The Spurs as was said earlier are aging and just dont seem to have that swagger they did last year. If the Lakers pull it off without Bynum then the league better look out next year. Bynum, Gasol, Odom, Bryant, and Fisher thats scary for the teams that play them.

Re: LAKERS #1 seed in the WEST

Well the Lakers have made it all the way to the Conference Final's, now we have to wait to find out their opponents. My money would be on the Hornets to make it but the Spurs can never be written off. Whoever gets thru will make it a classic titanic series imo..

Re: LAKERS #1 seed in the WEST

Well, the Lakers are up against the Spurs after they took care of the Hornets. Lakers-Spurs should be a great series. I'm gonna go for LA in 6, but you just never know with San Antonio...

My guess is that both series will go 7 games....Celtics vs Lakers in the Finals.
