I picked Lakers in 6, though with the 2-3-2 format, means the Lakers would have to win the series on the road. Lakers in 5 would be nice, if LA could get one win in Boston and come home to sweep the Celtics at Staples Center.

I voted Lakers in five. While the Celtics looked so good during the regular season, let's face it, they backed into the finals barely getting past an injured Piston's team. The Celtics have mostly struggled in the final period, while Kobe has dominated. My heart wants the Celtics to win it, but my head tells me otherwise.

I think these teams are more evenly matched than people think. Both have a core of guys that can get it done, both can depend on effective minutes from their bench players and both teams are athletic. The Celtics have the home court advantage, but the Lakers have shown the ability to win on the road. I look for the 11th Boston/LA finals matchup to be a hard fought series with the Lakers in 7.

What will turn out to be the achilles heel for the Celtics is Rando at the point. Fisher's defense of Rando and forcing turnovers will be the downfall.
