3-2 so far having beaten the dreaded SF Giants the last 2 games in SF. Dodgers are looking good so far especially considering they haven't started hitting yet.

This could be the Year?

Tough loss to CO .. bases loaded nobody out down 4 in the 9th and score only ONE run? Two foulball outs and a lazy fly ball that didn't even reach the track.... season is young....

and who is the Center Fielder who cannot seem to catch up to fly balls let alone catch them? Pierre.....

Rafael Furcal makes his season debut tonite!!! Should be the sparkplug this offense needs to compliment the superb SP we have been blessed with thus far.

Well, so far Furcal is 0 for 2 but it is 5-1 Dodgers in the 4th... at least he can play defense!

Okay... so now Furcal is 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's and now theDodgers are up 7-1 in the 7th but the Pads have the bases loaded....

Furcal's defense was great and Lowe had the sinker working last night. Tonight's pitching matchup looks to make for an instant classic with Schmidt vs. Peavy. Dodgers now 7-3 and in 1st place! Hopefully for the duration of the season.
