Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
No offense to Nomar he had a great year last year but I think its time for him step down. He plays in pain every game . It would be awesom eto see him pull some of that great stuff we saw last year down the stretch but Im not holding my breath

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
A win today to end the Dodgers longest losing streak since the All-Star break! Needed a 5 inning outburst to help them over the hump.
Still holding on to a share of first place and the most wins in the NL..... Pads are, at his moment, losing 7-1 so being alone in 1st seems imminent?RnD

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
Yeah the boys looked real good today. My buddy was texting me talking alot of crap when we ignited. So I told him from here on out anytime we are losing he needs to call me up.

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers have increased their lead to 2 games over the fathers. Let the run-a-way begin.

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
2 consecutive let-downs after a rain postponed game in Colorado. Tying runs at the plate and can't convert in both games. Go ahead run at the plate in the ninth today and Ethier strikes out.
Like I said before.. we do better chasing than leading, as long as we ahead after the last game is good enough for me....RnD

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
It's now a 4 horse race. As long as we are there at the wire all will be good.

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
Well, another offensive lapse puts us smack into an also-ran position fighting for a wild card. Still too much time left in the season to be overly concerned.

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
There must be a definite lack of quality pitching out there if Bumko gets to keep trotting out to the mound loss after loss.
Granted, 3 runs is considered decent in this live ball era, but sometimes a pitcher has to take control of the game to get a win?!?
At least the Snattlerakes lost and we did not drop another game back....RnD

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
Things aren't looking good. We are now 4 games out of 1st. I'm very unhappy about this sudden drop!

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
Dropped what, 10 of the last 12 or something? I wasn't worried when we were a game or 2 out but they need to right this ship toot sweet!

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
Could it get any worse? Shutout by Bronson (I'd rather be playing in my band) Arroyo!!!!! Cincinnati Reds have arguably the worst pitching staff in Major League baseball!!!
Tied with the Rockies now!!!!!
I'm ripped!

GO REDS GO!
(ps- im from ohio
laramo- we probably do have the worst. outside of harang, we have no aces. we have a half-decent arroyo and bailey, and a good livingston. belisle is decent.
we have weathers (actually good this year) and guardado in the bullpen, all the others suck.
go griffey, baby, he is better than bonds.
