Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
Maybe, I should not go to Dodger games.
I went to the Dodger vs. Rockies game on the 26th of July.
I had to see Penny pitch....I haven't been to a Dodger game since I lived in Cali, 18years ago.
Well ever since then the Dodgers have been in a slump and here I was excited at their chances this year.
1989-2007 18yrs. of mediocre baseball.
I'll stay away if they bring back the glory.
1988 WS- Game 1- 9th inning- 2 outs- full count-Kirk Gibson hooked me for life.

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
What a long day! First the Rams get blasted by the Chargers, then the Dodgers lose to the Rockies in 14 innings.:wtf:

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
Things are looking up a bit after sweeping Washington and adding Esteban Loaiza to our depleted rotation. Tonight and tomorrow, we let our bullpen rest up and let the D-backs and Padres beat up on each other. Then onto a big weekend series at SD.

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
Nice pickup by the Dodgers, Loaiza just gave up a home run to lead off batter Soriano for the Cubs. maybe Esteban will settle down the rest of the way. Cubs 1 Dodgers 0 (end of 1st)

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
Not really a surprise there, dgr. EVERYONE knows Soriano is one of the most feared power hitters in the league! Loaiza was just another victim.
Dodgers cannot afford many more losses if they hope to sneak into the playoffs. maybe whatever the Dodgers have was contagious as the Pads left the bases loaded when it counted most yesterday just as the Dodgers have been doing of late.:xRnD

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
Dodgers tie it in the top of the 2nd.
Esteban Loaiza settling down with an 1~2~3 inning bottom of the 2nd. Dodgers 1 Cubs 1 (top of 3rd)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
