But now is the time to get onto a hot streak and hope it carries through the play-offs

Well I went from stoked at 1 1/2 to pissed at 5 1/2 back. Its over sorry but its the truth not enough time left. I hope next season we are done with Grady.

3-2 so far having beaten the dreaded SF Giants the last 2 games in SF. Dodgers are looking good so far especially considering they haven't started hitting yet.

Yea i'm a dodger fan and i'm so dissapointed in this season. We had a good opportunity to make the playoffs, but somehow the bottom fell out on the way towards the wild card 2 weeks ago.

LRFRT, Torre was with 3 or 4 teams in 14 years without making the playoffs before he went to the talent-laden Yankees.

Has he shown he can win with a team which has an all-star caliber player in virtually every position?

Does he manage a team, or just massage super-stars egos enough so they kind of like each other enough to win games?

I guess we'll see what he can do with our Dodgers IF he signs on and part of that may be dependent on how much McCourt will open the purse-strings.

I know what you are saying but I think he is a major step up. He knows how to motivate players plain and simple. He has struggled lately in the playoffs that does worry me a bit. I think we have alot all star caliber players. Loney, Kent, Martin, Ethier, Braxton, Saito, Penny, Everyone of them could make the all star game next year. I just fealt Grady does not know how to right a ship when it starts to sink.
