This concerns me greatly, because it is still very early in the season and one has to wonder how a few days rest can really heal up his "tired" arm. His velocity has been terrible so far. The positive is that at least the Dodgers are a very deep team.

Indeed, historically (although not annually) the Dodgers are blessed with decent-to-good pitching and on paper they seem fairly deep again this year as far as pitching.

I'd say keep Schmidt on the DL until he is fully recovered and not keep "throwing" him back in there to see if he is ready. Let him pitch in AAA or even AA instead of where the games count most.

Wonder what the overpriced docs didn't see when he passed the physical prior to offering him a contract.

P.S., I like the wins in 10 of th elast 12 games but am afraid it is too much to expect for the whole season. Maybe we should expect 8 out of every 12 as more reasonable?

Dodgers put up 10 runs to go to 12-5 and still have the best record in MLB. Hopefully Penny can continue his brilliant pitching tomorrow and get his fourth straight win. Dodgers should take at least 2 of 3 in this home series. The Bucs Sat. nite starter, Ian Snell however, is a great young pitching prospect. Should be a tough one.

I was actually glad I decided to stay up and watched the end of the game

Only 2 of 3 vs the Bucs.. I'll take that every time!

It won't be as easy to sweep the Gnats this series... as poor as they are playing right now there is something about a rivalry which should bring everyone ready to play.

So the Dodgers have lost 3 in a row and what hurts even more is that the last 2 losses have been to the Giants. I haven't given up on the boys they will rebound.

The Lakers are down 0-2 to the Phoenix Suns and look they are going to get swept out of the playoffs.

That's 2 strikes!!!!

So I turn to the Rams.....Come on 2007 season.
