Agreed, LRFLT.
I am still puzzled as to where the 6-run inning came from. But maybe even more surprising was another 6 run inning today.
I was surprised to hear the commentators say that the Dodgers Lead the league in both RLOB and batting average with ROB. Almost seems like an oxymoron.
Barroid struck out twice but walked and scored the tying run in the ninth and here we go to extra innings......

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
You know I have not given up on this game but bases jacked no outs and we score nothing top 10. That is really inexcusable. If you watch the double play Saenz slows up he did not run out the play.

Yeah, AGAIN bases loaded with no outs and nobody scores... is why we lead in RLOB.
But then the win in the 12th helps to alleviate some of the pain. That and Barroid being 0-5 with 2 strike-outs and a walk but no intentional walks. I don't think they even "avoided" giving him pitches to hit, he just played like someone not on performance enhancers...

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
Yeah we are really rocking those guys this year. Barry is what 0-10 in the series? That game was scary im very happt to be a game up on the PADS . Lets see if Tomko could get a win tommorow. Im just curious is anyone else wondering why this guy was demoted to releiver, stunk it up, then gets promoted to starter again? Oh well I wish him the best that is for sure I hope he pitches a perfect game.

Well, LARamsFan, the way I see it some guys are starters and some guys are relievers but not a lot of guys have the mentality to do both. Tomko may arguably be a starter due to the lack of quality pitchers available but if the Dodgers can support him offensively he may be good enough to keep us in the game?

I dunno, LaRamO, while it is good to be in first maybe we should hang around in 2nd until the last week of the season as we cannot seem to handle being in 1st. It seems that we do better chasing than leading?

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
Swept the dreaded Gnats and Barroid was 0-the series.
Going home in 1st and looking to put some distance between us and the pack so we have a cushion when the inevitable slump arrives....

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
Best record in NL, but only 5th best in MLB... and yet only 1 game over the Pads....
that and Barroid was priceless after the game yesterday....

Over the weekend, Bonds played 30 innings as the Giants got swept in a three-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. "It's an embarrassment for me to be wearing this (expletive deleted) uniform 'cause of the way I'm playing," Bonds exclaimed. "There, that's it. Now go away."

HAS to be an audio out there of Mr. Potty mouth whining....

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
Best record in the NL sounds great to me. A 5 game winning streak sounds great to me. Now we just need to keep plugging away and winning series the run support as of late has been phenomanal.

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
I expected to lose eventually as all streaks end, but I never would've guessed it would be in such a dramatic fashion....
At least we rebounded with a come-from-behind win in a day game.

Re: Los Angeles Dodgers
When you win big sometimes you lose big. The team won its first 2 series after the break that is huge. Im really getting excited about this team. I see alot of young talent that is gonna make this team a contendor for awhile.
