Greg Maddux made his first start on the mound for his new team the LA Dodgers. He pitched a no hitter through seven innings before rain stopped the game momentarily. His arm stiffened up through the delay and he was not ready to go when the game resumed.

I was so excited when I noticed he was going for the no no. Ever since I heard the news that we traded for him I had been saying he will pitch a no no in his first start. I never thought he would actually go for it.He ended up with the win as the bullpen actually won the Dodgers a game.

Greg has evoked new hope in fans and I think the clubhouse. With two good starting pitchers now the boys could definatly make a run at the division title.Im am still skeptical at this point point but it is step in the right direction that is for sure.

I still beleive next year will be the year the boys really make some noise. The pieces are falling into their places.
