Minny and Detroit are rumored to be the front runners to gain two expansion teams in the National Lacrosse League. Also rumored are Tampa Bay, Atlanta, Oklahoma City, Dallas.

Minnesota would be owned by the Minnesota Wild and I'm not sure who would own the Detroit team. The league has continued a business model of seeking ownership groups from the NHL and NBA to enhance marketing and business models. Both teams would buy the Ottawa and Montreal teams that have been suspended one and two years, respectively.
