Re: NBA FINALS (game 6)
Call me a homer but the LAKERS are due to win one in BOSTON. Let's not forget they won on the road in DENVER, UTAH and SAN ANTONIO during their playoff run.
So, I'm "ALL IN" ...LAKERS to win game 6.

Re: NBA FINALS (game 6)
I wish I could cast my vote for the Lakers, but I just don't see it. They've been unable to stay focused, they get totally lost on defense, they disappear on offense, they've shown no effort in going after loose balls or rebounds and Kobe hasn't come close to looking Jordan-like. They're lucky they didn't get put away at home and it only gets tougher in Boston where the Celtics have only lost one game in the playoffs and will be fueled by a rabid crowd looking for championship number 17 in game six. Hope I'm wrong.

Re: NBA FINALS (game 6)
I think it all comes down to if Kendrick Perkins plays. If he's in the middle, that negates what Gasol/Odom can do. If he's not, then the Celtics move KG down low and that opens up the Gasol/Odom combo.
With Perkins, it's over. Without Perkins, the Lakers have a shot. However, here is the caveat......Pierce, He gets 35 it's over.

laramO, i wouldn't bet the house. But i'd bet a "whopping" .... 1 dollar. I'm with tx
that Perkins availability to play makes a difference in the Lakers chances in game
6. Either way, Boston will win the series.
Honestly, i hate both teams. But i hate the Lakers more. So the Celtics are the lesser of two evils.
Where are my Phoenix Suns when i need them?! I know. Not in the finals.........
AGAIN.
RAM ON!

Re: NBA FINALS (game 6)
I'm all in for Boston to win it by 39 points and Paul Pierce to be Finals MVP.
You've got to hand it to the Celtics. They played fantastically as a team throughout the series, and it's great to see guys like Pierce, Garnett, Allen, Brown finally getting their first championship. Congrats to them.
Not to mention it was nice to see Kobe choke once again. As good as Jordan? Pssh. Yeah, right.

I'll hand it to the Celtics, but I'm certainly not happy about it. As I've said before, they're the Patriots of the NBA as far as I'm concerned with the same smug attitude and the exact same fan base of idiots. That aside, they deserved the title. They wanted it more, worked harder and made it happen while the Lakers and Kobe were absolutely horrible in a weak effort with no heart. They got punked and deservedly so.
