Gagne only out 2 months yes!!!!!!! Renteria is a good pickup offensively. He is a heck of a clutch hitter.

Re: New MLB season
The Braves should have a good year. What is the name of that relief pitcher that they have that is such a great prospect? He pitched against the Dodgers and should be a good one.

Dodgers took 2 of 3 from Philly this weekend and should help the Braves out too.

Yea. But our Closer blew the second save tonight. Bottom of the 9th he gave up two runs. GOSH!!! I hate Reitsma.

Re: New MLB season
He shouldn't be a closer. Other than Smoltz, the Braves have had a hard time finding a decent closer in recent years.

Re: New MLB season
No kidding. Maybe we should just trade for Chris Carpenter and make him closer

Re: New MLB season
The Braves would have to give up more than anybody in Fulton Co. can imagine if they want to acquire Carpenter.

Re: New MLB season
The Cardinals letting go of Carpenter would cause a major riot in STL. If you guys think Warner was a King in that town, then Carpenter is Emperor.
Remember, no matter what, STL is and always will be a baseball town first.

Re: New MLB season
What about letting that kid James take over the role as he settles in?

Re: New MLB season
Yes, we know........and technically it would have to be the Cards trading Carpenter.
