Re: Will Barry Bonds break Hank Aarons record??

I think he will and it really pisses me off. He is a cheater who doesn't deserve the record. MLB knows he roided, but for the sake of baseball's image chooses not to bust him. It's sickening. Just another reason in the ever growing list of why I just really don't like baseball that much anymore.

Re: Will Barry Bonds break Hank Aarons record??

The all-natural Bonds is still about 150 HRs away from the record. So, No, I don't think he'll make it.

The chemically advanced Bonds will, but not the all-natural one.

Re: Will Barry Bonds break Hank Aarons record??

Steroids did play a part in this but not much. He has been walked with the bases loaded before. That's all bush. Steroids may allow you to recover from injuries faster, maybe allow you to hit the ball 420 instead of 410. However, it doesn't help your hand/eye coordination and that's still one of Barry's best skills.

I don't like how he presents himself to the press or the general public either, but I won't say that the record he is about to break is all that tainted from steroid use.

Actually yes, steroids have been always been illegal.

Steroids made him stronger and he healed faster. That's what steroids do. Is he an incredible hitter without them? Heck yea. That's why I still think he would have had 600 or so homeruns without the needle. But would he have as many homeruns or as many at-bats to attempt homeruns without the needle? Nope.

plus the roids shrink a certain part of the male body. that would be enough for me not to do it right there.

That's a tough call don't you think? Well, at least I think so. But hey, I'm the "liberal" of the website right?

Me, liberal. My brother in Memphis is rolling on the floor laughing so hard he's crying right now with the mere thought of me being liberal.

lol

Re: Will Barry Bonds break Hank Aarons record??

I think the better question here is, will Justing Morneau MVP repeat?? Or how about Joe Mauer, will he get the batting title? Or Sanatana the Cy Young? TWINS BABY...and that is all we need to know :-)
