Re: Afl2
The Bakersfield Blitz are my local team. I think last time we played Tulsa we lost 64-63. Crazy game. We too are having tryouts, and I think it's a bit more your speed Alpha. Maybe you and BRM can come down and tryout.

"Bakersfield- Bakersfield Blitz announce Blitz Girl, Taryn Green as the new dance team coordinator for the 2007 Blitz Girlz.
"The Blitz organization couldn’t be happier filling the dance team coordinator position with Taryn Green," said Blitz Vice President Paul Press.
Green will be coordinating Blitz Girlz appearances and keeping them involved in countless community outreach programs. In addition to performing at games during the season, fans will be able to see the Blitz Girlz at schools, community events and functions year-round.
Tryouts for the 2007 Blitz Girlz will be held in February. Details will be announced soon."

Re: Afl2
As far as who is going to play alpha in the movie, given our quest around here for true to life actors matching the lives and physical characteristics of the people that they portray, there is only one realistic choice and that has to be ron jeremy. If for some reason jeremy wont take the part, i am thinking brad pitt.

Re: Afl2
We have the REAL DEAL....the AFL not AFL2......

I go see the Austin Wranglers play. The Irwin Center is downtown and lots of beer joints along the way in downtown Austin.

Re: Afl2
Well me and my brother broke down and bought season tickets in the front row right on the 50 for the Bakersfield Blitz. Looking forward to the season, hopefully it'll help me out with my football fix.

Re: Afl2
Hey, it's football, so I'll take it. And after the AFL is all done, we get the NFL-Europe. Always fun to watch that, especially ever since Kurt Warner made it more popular, and now everyone is looking for that next "no-namer" to become famous.

Re: Afl2
Wow, you'd think that since the AFL season is in full swing, we'd have more people here.

Re: Afl2
True about the AFL2, but I was talking about the AFL. The AFL season has been going for about... 4 weeks now, and there is not much here.
Let's see... our first game is Friday the 30th. Birmingham vs Vipers. My brother has some baseball games, so may not be able to go to that one.

Re: Afl2
PA_gal and I are going to see the Tulsa Talons whoop up on the Amarillo Dusters this Saturday evening. We have back our receiver from two years ago - Donovan Morgan. In that season, he scored 57 TDs.

Re: Afl2
My wife and I just got back from watching the Tulsa Talons spank the amarillo Dusters 77-44. The Talons scored on all but one possession and also scored on a defensive play. Actually, there was andeflected pass that was interceptrd made by the Talons that was run back for a TD. However, the refs called it back for pass interference. That was wack.
2-0, baby![SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
