Re: With the 14th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams select:

Never say never, but Jones did everything he could to crack the top 10 today. Of course, as I think that grabbing an impact defender is the best route, this works to my favor as if he goes in the top 13, then it means that there's one more (probable) defender who drops to us.

Never the less, it'll be very interesting to see how their pro days go to see if Jones can narrow the gap even more, or maybe even overtake Green on draft day.

    I believe!

I guess the one thing we have in our favor is that there may be 2 top 13 QB's and many DT's , DE's, and OLineman really showed there stuff at the combine to elevate into top 15 picks

As crazy as it might seem, it is possible that the WR available at #14 will be Green, not Jones.

    Don't believe it?

Did you have Darius Heyward-Bey going before Michael Crabtree?

Did you have Demarius Thomas going before Dez Bryant?

Sure, those were different situations but, the point is, you never know.

4.39 40 w a broken foot. I suppose that is decent enough speed.

If AJ Green falls to 14, I will cry tears of joy, thank the football Gods for the stroke of luck and write a personal thank you letter to every team that passed on him.

Green is as complete of a WR as I've seen enter the draft since Larry Fitzgerald. Putting him here with Bradford would give St. Louis one of the most dynamic offenses in the NFL.
