Could signal an eventual move to the 4-3, with one playing OLB and the other being a DE. Immediately though, both can compete for time at 3-4 OLB.

I think they have to give him a long look. He's graded right around the end of the first on many analyst boards, but I wonder where the Rams have him.

You'd have to think he's rated pretty highly. Brett Romberg might have some competition. I wouldn't be disappointed at all if he was the selection.

I think this team still had other pressing needs beyond using a 2nd round pick on a RB. A bit disappointed with this choice. A guy who will primarily back up a star player like this could have been found with a much later selection.
