    2008 NFL Draft

Well we have had a season to evaluate our draft, and while it is still extremely early to judge how last years rookies will turn out, what would you guys do different? Would you grab Matt Ryan at two???
    Discuss.

    (Disclaimer: I love Chris Long)

I wouldn't take Matt Ryan, that's for sure. I think I would have stuck with Chris Long, all things considered. The other potential options at the time (Gholston, Dorsey) I believe have shown that we made the right choice.

Avery seems to be a good choice for our second round pick. You could consider DeSean Jackson here, or even Curtis Lofton.

Greco seems about right for the third pick, as there wasn't anyone else who really stood out that was picked after him in the third round. Jamal Charles and Steve Slaton were both picked in the third round, but I don't believe we would have taken another RB.

Glad you asked. Chamberlain led the RAMS in ST tackles, does anyone think he'll make a good WLB someday?

FYI - Chamberlain also played FB in college - just wondering if he could for us- guess you can tell I sorta like this guy. I like players that are hard-nosed - I like his form tackling skills.

It's still too early to say, especially with King's injury. If he can start and be solid, Long, Avery & King wouldn't be a bad start for Billy D...

...but to answer you question, I'd still take Long and as for Avery, I'm glad we got him, but as you say, Lofton would have been nice, if not highly touted Dan Connor in rnd 3? (yes I know he's been injured!)

It's easy to pick apart the rams recent drafts, they have been one of the worst teams drafting players. Personally I still would have gotten Long I like everything about him. I can't wait to see this years draft, Finally a different regime in the office!!! yyyyyyaaaaaaaaa !!!!!!!! It hopefully can only get better...
