Also, after his first injury, he came back after three weeks and absolutely torched Baylor with 389 throwing yards and 1 TD.

Okay. Now try dissecting his sophomore season wins...

The point is, the BYU game and the Texas game were lost because HE was not in the line-up.



Since the beginning of his sophomore season, he's played in 19 games. 15 of those were wins. 1 of those was a loss to powerhouse Texas in 2008. The other loss in 2008 was in the National Championship to Florida.

In 2009, he played three games. 2 of those he was injured, which both led to losses. The other, he played, and was easily won.


So he obviously isn't playing low talent like Baylor every game...

I was simply saying that this years Oklahoma team, which lost 5 regular season games, would not have gone undefeated. I am not convinced, having watched that game, they would have beaten Texas with Bradford, and their defensive drop off would have done them in against Texas Tech anyway.

I don't think they would have gone undefeated either. But to me, I think that it's a whole different OU team when Bradford is in the game. Bradford is basically the cog to their offense.

They might have had a chance to beat Texas, but it's up in the air.

Demaryius Thomas won't be in blue and gold unless he falls to the fourth. He is primarily potential right now and with a broken foot that won't help his status. I don't see a team going with him in the first but definetely possilbe in the second. Boom or Bust to say the least.

I think one could argue that I am the primary reason why Jimmy Clausen continues to fall in our Mod Mock.

I passed on him at No. 4 because I think the Redskins will take an OT, rather than adding Clausen into the mix with Jason Campbell.

I then considered him at No. 9 for the Bills, but concluded that they have a greater need for a NT given their plan to switch to a 3-4, and Dan Williams is a great fit there.

Finally, I could have considered him at No. 14, but I concluded that the Seahawks will not take a QB in Round 1 given that they are keeping Hasselbeck and they traded for Charlie Whitehurst.

How far will Clausen fall?

He might just fall back to the Redskins in the 2nd round. Assuming they have a 2nd I guess. Otherwise at the beginning of day two maybe the Bills start making calls to ensure they get him.
