it sure is..as soon as the Jags made the shocking move for Tyson Alualu that was it..other teams started trading up for players they could have probably got where they were..whilst big time prospects have fallen quite a bit and some still not taken..

Niners are gonna have an awesome line next year..but shocking they took 2 linemen...Bulaga dropping to 23rd...Bryant to 24th..Tebow 25th and not only that but traded up to get him...haha

Barring more insanity, my crazy and mostly joking prediction actually came true. I never saw that coming honestly. I think this says a lot about the QB class in this draft...and about Jimmy Clausen's ability...or perceived ability vs what the media had to say.

I think this is great for the Rams - a whole day for QB hungry teams to try and get Clausen. Tomorrow, I bet we get calls from the Bills, the Browns, the Dolphins, the Vikings, etc. Clausen is a big name, bigger than anyone thought would slip, and it is great for us at the top of the 2nd round. We can get an arsenal of picks in return and move back a bit in the 2nd.

And secondly, for those of you complaining that Clausen fell and we COULD have drafted him in the second -

First, Clausen is not Bradford. As many have said, Bradford is considered a franchise quarterback, and if we didn't draft him number one, someone would have drafted him in top 5 without a doubt. Hopefully we have our guy for the next 10 years, our Peyton Manning, our Carson Palmer, our John Elway.

Second, there's no way to predict that Clausen slides like that. We have to make the pick based on what we need, and hell, we need a QB. Cheers to Iron Sam Bradford!

i don't really know what to say about this draft, but hopefully we can still take advantage of it and trade down to a team looking for a qb like has been suggested.

Good point on shopping that second pick. I can't think of anyone we absolutely cannot do without that would cause us to want to keep our top pick in the second if we get a decent offer of some picks in exchange. I still want to know what Holgren was offering us. Still boggles my mind that Clausen has fallen this far. He's good. Real good. McCoy is no slouch either. I would have been happy with either of them with Suh. Iron (I hurt my shoulder from two light weights landing on me, wait till NFL size DL's land on me ) Sam (overrated as a # 1 pick) Bradford.
