    2011 Mocks

    1. Julio Jones - WR - Alabama
    2. Jimmy Smith/Brandon Harris - DB - Colorado/Miami
    3. Cameron Heyward - DT/DE - THE OHIO STATE
    4. Sam Acho - OLB - Texas
    5. Alex Green - RB - Hawaii
    7. Will Rackley - OL - Lehigh
    7. BPA/Dwayne Harris - WR/RB/KR - Eastern Carolina

My first shot at a mock, I dig looking at these things. Can't wait til Thursday. I'd like to see more of your mocks here too.

I don't think Jimmy Smith will drop to round 2, though Brandon Harris could. There is no way Cameron Heyward drops to the third.

There's a great chance that a few valuable d-lineman could fall well into the 3rd. Seems to be the year for that. Maybe not Cameron Heyward exactly, with that I'm being a little naive and optimistic.

Dont get me wrong, I'd be ecstatic if this was pulled off. I do understand what you're saying, with so many talented defensive lineman, somebody has to drop.

Yeah, I'd expect Heyward to go maybe late round 1, early round 2. To be honest, if he was there when we picked at #47, I'd be tempted to take him over either of the corners. I'm not 100% certain he'd be a good fit for what we do on defense, but the value would be hard to resist. Like Adam Carriker before, I'd be concerned his best fit might be a 3-4 defense. Also, I'd be very surprised if Rackley dropped all the way to round 7.
