    Nope. Registered Independent.

    Now, I believe that's:

    K.Fuller (1)
    K.Van Noy (1)
    J.Matthews (1)

    Who else wants to vote?

    Kyle Fuller for me... ****ducking****

I might have to wear some protective gear for futures picks in this thread.

Not really, Fuller is right there with Roby. I'm not a huge Roby fan in rd 1, but I think NFL teams will like his upside more than Fuller, perhaps far safer bet to start right away.

He also fills a big need ( I actually think the Niners will deal down for Cooks or Lee) Bank on it.

They were scouting EVANS at his workout, so clearly, they are looking to make a huge deal.

I think Harbaugh wants to win NOW, even giving up 2015 #1 pick.

I think using Jeremiah's top 50 should give one in idea of the guys teams would pick.

Anyone in his top 40 could go in round one this year. And the rest of the top 50 are sure 2nds.

Reaching for guys out of that range is just gonna be wrong, and I think at least an attempt accuracy in a mock is what it's all about. That's why the MOCK sites you can play in will let you see BPA, so you won't miss a guy.

Re: The 2014 ClanRam Voting Mock Draft (Post-Combine Ed.)

Jeremiah has Roby 30th now, and Fuller 39th, not a huge difference Roby now ahead of Verett too, who is 62th.

Again as I said, for scouts it's about upside, though Fuller'scombine numbers were good.
Since fuller had NFL DNA (His brother Corey plays for the Lions), I'm gonna go against my instincts and change to Fuller as my pick.

As I said, I think the Niners WILL deal up fro a WR, as they did for FS last year.

But lets go Fuller, and move on. I have him and Roby neck and neck anyway, after the great combine by Fuller.

Re: The 2014 ClanRam Voting Mock Draft (Post-Combine Ed.)

The Denver Broncos are in decent cap shape, and no doubt some veterans will want to go there to play with Manning. They are losing Eric Decker probably to FA. which makes a guy like J. Mathews tempting

They will look to sign an OT, their top need, but Moses is in play as a draft pick as well.
Cornerback, with Champ Bailey cut, seems to be the top need now, if the Broncos can't add a top FA there like Verner.

Defensive line is also a need some mention.

The Denver Post says the ONLY broncos immediate needs are safety, MLB, and CB

It's too early for a MLB, and the top two safeties are gone.

The top talent seems to be WR and CB, and perhaps DL.

I'm gonna say they go with the best combination or need and value, and take CB R. Roby

Re: The 2014 ClanRam Voting Mock Draft (Post-Combine Ed.)

Last year, Jeremiah did not have Travis Frederick in his Top 50. He went to Dallas in the first round.
He had Kyle Long ranked at No. 48. He went at No. 20 to Chicago.
He had Datone Jones ranked at No. 44. He went at No. 26.
He had the following players ranked in his Top 50 who didn't get selected until Round 3 or later: Keenan Allen, Jonathan Franklin, Terron Armstead and Damontre Moore.

So, while Jeremiah certainly has good perspective as a former scout he, like everyone else, sometimes over or underestimates players' draft slots.

That's what makes this fun. If everyone picked the same players on their mocks, and everyone was close to 100% accurate, there would be no intrigue.

Re: The 2014 ClanRam Voting Mock Draft (Post-Combine Ed.)

I think Denver has needs just about everywhere on defense. The biggest are in the secondary, but I don't think the fifth CB in this class is an especially good value here and I don't see a safety worth reaching for.

Outgoing free agent Wesley Woodyard was simply not very good at middle linebacker last year, so I think Ohio State's Ryan Shazier could be the pick. He's one of the best defenders still on the board at this point, and he could give them a three-down presence at middle linebacker.

    CB Roby (1)
    LB Shazier (1)

Re: The 2014 ClanRam Voting Mock Draft (Post-Combine Ed.)

I have Shazier right there with Roby, but can he play MLB in a 4-3 where they need a guy?

i could see Borland in round two for them.

Shazier is a prototype 4-3 "will" LB, but can he play MLB at 237lb?

They love Danny Trevathan , who had 129 tackles and 2 sacks his first year starting.

And Von Miller is set in place there still.

It would be a hard choice for Denver, that's for sure, because Shazier is a good player, but so is Roby and so are Mathews and Adams and Landry. And Moses would fit the #1 need.

Perhaps they trade down a bit

That's a tough question, but he is definitely a first round talent as a 4-3 OLB, and could go earlier than this

Those two were late movers who almost everyone, including Jeremiah had in round one or very early two by draft day. The Rams knew they would have no shot at long in round two, whichhelped hasten the deal up.

Also, you can have a player ranked 32nd, and another 45th, and they have the same rating number.

Again it's about tiers, and the second tier could be small, or large, like this year.

Last year it was small, and that pushed guys normally picked in round two into round one.

The opposite happened this year, due to the record number of underclassmen.

That's why I doubt you will see a guy projected in round three to be a first round pick

You have to list them in some way, even if all are the same.

Most of the way out there #1's out of any real credible top 50 usually end up busts.

The Seattle Seahawks are on the clock, and I think Xavier Su'a-Filo out of UCLA is one of the best values on the board here and fits a clear need area for the Seahawks, as he could come in and immediately upgrade either guard spot.
