When I say Seattle likes OL round one, I mean OT. They have a third round guard and a second round center, but since 2009, that is IT for interior linemen drafted at all, other than one 7th last year.

Now saying they won't take a guard, but, they don't look like a team that ever does that, preferring 2nd and 3rd rounders there.

Moses or Kouandjio seems like a more likely pick than a guard if they go O-line

Wouldn't you figure that the Seahawks becomes the impasse to this mock.
Maybe we should say Carroll messes up and their time runs out !!!

I guarantee the guy they take will be a name no one has put to them. They are the hardest team to read, especially with so few needs.

They are saying that Bennett is gone though, and also Bryant, so unless they sign another FA like they did Avril, looks like that D-line may trump the other needs, especially DE.

Could they surprise with a Scott Crichton, Steven Tuitt, who was so highly thought of throughout the season, or Trent Murphy?

That whole defense reies on that pass rush, and it allows the corners to play tight, as double moves are a big risk to the QB.

Not sure what is available in FA, as the top guys like Hardy get tagged.

Will the Vikings let Jared Allen go? I really haven't heard a thing on that front.
The Vikings have lots to spend, and could go after Michael Vick and other top guys, as well as re-sign Allen.

Doe Seattle have the cap room to replace Bennett, if they couldn't just sign him again?

Carroll is a huge size/speed athleticism guy, which makes for inexperienced guys not rated high by scouts becoming Seahawks early.

They are the opposite of the Cowboys who seem to love safe picks with a high floor and low ceiling. He took a center in round one. They trade up for the guys getting the most PR.

Pete Carroll would never do that.

And that's why every mock will have a different guy to Seattle, and none of them will be right.

Yeah, we appear to have hit a snag. I think I'm going to remove the second round from this particular effort, and maybe we can try a two-rounder after free agency. So Seattle's pick here will be the last one, hopefully some people who haven't participated yet (or recently) can add some clarity and bring this one home.

Good idea. And the winner is...

    WR Jordan Matthews!

Great job on the mock, everyone!
