The more I look into Leonard, the more I like him. Now I still would have rather had another DT or a DE, Leonard is an amazing athlete that we are lucky to have on our team.

its a nice pick, he can play both RB and FB so will see quite a bit of time on the field as a rookie i expect

Absolutely, Toma.
This guy is a bruiser and if you want some POWER, a backfield with Jackson and Leonard is it.

It's fair enough. A nice backup for Jackson, now we can concentrate, once again, on the denefse. Quentin Moses in round 3!

I hope Carriker can stop the run all by himself because I think Linehan will probably spend the rest of his picks upgrading the offensive line and recieving corps.

Take Ola Dagunduro with a late pick.

Re: With the 52nd pick, St. Louis selects Brian Leonard, FB, Rutgers
I don't have a problem with Leonard as a player, but there are other guys on the board I would have taken first. Ryan Kalil could have provided some immediate competition with Brett Romberg at center. We could have gone for a pass rushing specialist at DE. We could have added to our secondary with an Eric Wright, Marcus McCauley, or Jonathan Wade.
I guess the Rams are hoping Leonard is to them what Chris Cooley is to Washington? I dunno. Good prospect, don't like the spot here.

a lil surprised by the pic but i think its a decent one.. im happy enough even tho there is still plenty of good players still available that could have helped our D!
