I'm glad we're finally do something...it's depressing reading about all these other teams making moves while we just site around.
I hope it's Hall. He's still pretty young, himself. What is he, about 19 years old still?

How does anyone know if its Peppers, Hall, or anyone? What are we talking about? lol
Hall said he wanted out and Peppers contract is up next year (the Panthers want to get some value from him) to answer your question Varg.
Name the most consistent winning teams in the NFL. Indy and NE. Up until last year, both teams never were active in free agency. They built in the draft and picked up role players, not the glitzy big names. You don't win games in the first day of free agency. They're won at the end of April. Remember that.
I heard him on the radio. The way I heard it he was saying we might hear more about it later next week. Doesn't sound like it is a premier or rush type of situation. Thomas wouldn't give any details and he didn't mention if the Rams were trading a player or acquiring a player. His comment made me think it was VERY early in the negotiations process or it was contingent on other things happening.
There are some very good ideas here of whom this trade might involve. Softli could have the inside track to Peppers. BernieM made some vague comments about Fakhir Brown "going back on vacation" which worries me - if he gets suspended again, I believe it'd be a year-long vacation. That opens up the CB position. Lito Sheppard is great in press coverage and plays well man-to-man, the type of cornerback Jim Haslett prefers on his defense. DeAngelo Hall has elite talent and Devaney could have the inside track to him. WR options like Chad Johnson and Roy Williams are also very intriguing; I'd take both of them in a heartbeat. It'll be interesting to see how this pans out.
Then again, I won't be surprised if this "blockbuster trade" ends up being for some bum like Javon Walker. :x

Bernie is saying this trade isn't anything big.
Quote:
It's not a big deal...
besides, it may preempted by a free-agency sighting...

Maybe he's just trying to play it down as nothing and then break a blockbuster story, who knows with that guy.Quote:
I'm telling ya, nothing to worry about... just move on.

this guy was good at greenbay. he messed things up by wanting money that he didint earn, now he is a cast off that nobody wants. Ahh I love Happy Endings.
This is from another poster playmaker at another site and it is more the way I rember it going. I thought the way he was talking it would be at the end of the weekend that we would hear about this.
Bernie and Randy K. just had Jim Thomas on "The Roll Home." Randy was talking about Shaun Rogers being traded, and Kris Jenkins being traded. He then asked JT if the Rams had anything up their sleeves trade wise. JT said, "I can not disclose anything right now. But I do know the Rams are working on something that could be pretty significant. I know who it is, but I can not say anything yet. Look for it at the end of the weekend."
Damn this suspense. tell us who it is. PLease. Oh man.. who could this be. I am calling this now. Chad Johnson for our first Round pick and a bengals 6th rounder.
