Alan Branch?
Call me crazy here, but I think it might be something to look into. Now we all know that he never really blossomed into that huge 1st round monster that he was projected to be. However he has become a pretty good run stuffing rotational player. Now I am wondering if maybe we should bring him in for a visit. He probably won't cost us a lot of money, and we know what we are getting (young run stuffer) so why not give it a shot?
If we managed to sign him and Coffield, I think we would have a scary good defensive line for years to come.

Depending on the price, I'd go out on that limb.

I didn't like him coming out..thankfully we dodged that bullet. But if he the Rams don't sign a top DT, then he might make a good 3rd and short situational player. Just as long as he's being paid like that too.

Re: Alan Branch?
No thanks, I'd rather we sign someone who was actually productive.

I think he would do really well as a situational guy, and we do have a coach that is know for getting the most out of his defensive lineman
