Re: Alshon Jeffery Pro Day Update
Two questions:
Can he get open?
Can he catch?
If either answer is "yes" he has already established himself as a better receiver than anything on the roster.

Third question:
Can he say no to a third helping of mashed potatoes and gravy?

Re: Alshon Jeffery Pro Day Update
Lol i thought that pic was a joke... I had to google him to see what number he was. Wow he looks like a high school linebacker in that pic with all the baby fat. He sure doesnt pass the eyeball test there. But he can catch tho

Re: Alshon Jeffery Pro Day Update
There is nothing wrong with either amendola or salas, assuming they are healthy. Both has shown solid production in terms of being able to catch AND get open in their roles. Neither are a #1 of course, but the fact that a guy can catch and get open does not make him better than "anyone on the roster." We need impact guy(s) at the receiver spots. Is jeffery that guy? I don't want to use a high pick (round 1 or 2) to find out.

Re: Alshon Jeffery Pro Day Update
Bingo.
The guy has great potential but few things make me more nervous about draft prospects than questionable motors and work ethics. The fact that Jeffery admits he hasn't weighed this little since high school kind of cements the fact that this playing weight (and likely this timed speed) is not what a team is going to get in the pros.
I'd be really hesitant to draft him before the third round, but he probably comes off in the late first or early second. He'd make me a very nervous fan if the Rams drafted him in the second round.
