    Anthony Spencer, Purdue

I haven't seen much mention of Anthony Spencer on these boards even though some analysts have him rated higher than Crowder or Woodley. If we don't grab a DE with our 1st pick, he might be a good choice in the 2nd round.
It's unlikely he'll be there in the 3rd.

It's probably unlikely he'll be there in the second.

He'll probably go 2nd round but way before our pick.

I'd really like to see us select a DT and a DE with our first two picks. If we wait until the later rounds I don't think it makes a lot of sense because we already have a few mediocre (so far) prospects vying for DE right now. Do you think Crowder or Woodley will be available at our 2nd pick?

I agree with you, but to get a guy like Spencer, who I really like with his great speed and intensity, we may have to move back into the late first round. I am not against getting a 2nd ist round pick.

I've had Spencer going in the late first for a while now. He could dip into the second, but not all the way to our pick.
