I could be wrong, but I thought Tennessee WR was Robert Meacham.

You are correct, Sir! (don't know where I got "Scott" from).
Either way, though, the Rams won't be taking him (or any other WR) in the first round.

Brady Quinn? That gave me a good laugh. Can you find a link to this mock? I'd like to see the reasoning behind it.

This offseason, in both FA and the Draft, is really oversaturated with DEs.

The options through free agency really arent that desirable.. what with Justin Smith being franchised that really only leaves Charles Grant and Dwight Freeney.. maybe Patric Kerney.

Wasn't Freeney tagged as well?
draftdaddy.com has Rams getting Branch.

I don't know what's so absurd about the Rams drafting Brady Quinn, that's who I have them taking in the first round....

Maybe you can elaborate on why exactly it makes sense then? We basically covered the QB argument last season with Cutler. I've seen nothing this season to suggest we need to draft one in the first round. In fact if anything, the need has decreased - Bulger excelled in Linehan's system, didn't miss time with injury, and we've got some hope on the interior line to make that unit better.

No it is absurd. My mock draft was taking all Notre Dame players. I'm in love with Brady Quinn. I like trading up for Gaines Adams, but to be assured of him would take too many picks. I like Amobi Okoye at #13 or Timmons. I was just being sarcastic...

whats the most absurd part of the prediction that the rams will take quinn is the idea that he will be around at 13. barring injury between now and the draft, i will bet my house that he is gone before we pick at 13.

Just like Alex Barron and Steven Jackson shouldnt have been there when we picked in previous years...

Re: Around the Web: Who the "Experts" Think The Rams Will Take (2/18/07)
Steven Jackson wasnt there when we picked, we traded up to get him, and there were rumours that his knee wasnt 100% right, but its a fair point mr tomahawk. Guys drop all the time. However, franchise qb's rarely if ever drop out of the top 10. Rothelsberger wasnt taken in the top 10 but there were a couple of qb's ahead of him and he didnt "drop" much. One of the biggest reasons for this is that in the case of qb's, teams trade up to get them (see cutler).
I agree that anderson has virtually no shot of being there at 13 when we pick either. I am still willing to bet that brady quinn will be long gone by 13 barring injury.
