AR's First Complete Rams Mock
Here's my first stab at the Rams' full draft. This is based upon both who I want and who I think will be available when the Rams select:
Round 1: Chad Greenway, OLB, Iowa
Would round out the Rams LB corps nicely. Greenway is a tackling machine who has the size to play the strong side. (Second Choice: Jimmy Williams, CB, VaTech)
Round 2: Jonathan Joseph, CB, South Carolina
If the Rams take a LB in round 1, they'll need a DB in round 2. Joseph should be there, and would be a good choice at this spot. (Second Choice: Abdul Hodge, MLB, Iowa)
Round 3: Darryl Tapp, DE, VaTech
He might not last this long, but if he does, he'd be a great value at this point. (Second Choice: Victor Adeyanju, DE, Indiana)
Round 4: Tim Day, TE, Oregon
Rams can finally turn to offense at the start of day 2 of the draft. Day has good size (268 lbs.) and decent speed (4.78), and could be a red zone threat. (Second Choice: David Thomas, TE, Texas)
Round 5: John Torp, P, Colorado
The Rams need a big leg to help with field position, and Torp is probably the best in the draft. (Second Choice: Leon Washington, RB/KR, FSU)
Round 6: Wali Lundy, RB, Virginia
Could be a nice change of pace back and a potential kick returner. (Second Choice: Ryan Plackemeir, P, Wake Forest)
Round 7: Gerald Anderson, DT, Georgia
Rams will likely need depth at this position. (Second Choice: Marcus Green, DT, Ohio State)
