Re: Av's Day 2 Rams Draft Board
If available the safer picks for me are Carter or Paea but Cobb is very tempting. I hate using the phrase... but he does have "it" in my opinion. Not only can he line up at receiver but he actually had just under 1000 yards rushing his last two seasons.

Re: Av's Day 2 Rams Draft Board
I would maybe add Marcus Cannon in that list too. He moves well for a big guard. Although LeShoure is a good back, I would rather us go a different direction with our second round pick than a back-up RB.
Hankerson would be a great fit. Paea would be nice too, as it gives us balance on the d-line, so opposing offenses won't just isolate our ends and pick on our tackles.

Re: Av's Day 2 Rams Draft Board
I'll be happy with Bruce Carter, Mason Foster, Akeem Ayers, Torrey Smith, Stephen Paea, or Mikel LeShoure in this pick.

Re: Av's Day 2 Rams Draft Board
Lets add another Tar Heel, and continue our construction of a dominant defense!

Re: Av's Day 2 Rams Draft Board
We have one older but good DT and thats it. I would like to get Paea or maybe Austin for DT and if not then Foster or Carter at OLB.
Our DL would look good with:
RDE-Long 6'3 265
DT-Robbins 6'4 325
DT-Paea 6'1 305 4.95 40
DE-Quinn 6'4 270 4.62 40
Round 3 I would like to go G to possibly replace Goldberg.Last edited by RamsSB99; -04-29-2011 at 12:49 AM.

Re: Av's Day 2 Rams Draft Board
In my opinion there is still 4 big guys that can drop to us in round 2.
Tier 1 Guys:
LB - Akeem Ayers
DT - Stephen Paea
WR - Torrey Smith
DB - Aaron Williams
I'd be very pleased with any of these guys.
Tier 2 Guys:
I also wouldn't mind either Ryan Williams or Mikel LeShoure. I just think its early to draft a guy that'll touch the ball 8 times a game. Leonard Hankerson, Mason Foster or Bruce Carter would all be solid picks as well.Last edited by sosa39rams; -04-29-2011 at 01:02 AM.

Re: Av's Day 2 Rams Draft Board
I really want Aaron Williams. Incredible ball skills. Got what it takes to be our FS immediately. Plus him and Quinn are friends so thats pretty cool.
Rd 2 desire:
If a solid WR is there him, or Aaron Williams
Rd 3 desire:
If we dont take one rd 2 a WR, if we do FS/RB

Re: Av's Day 2 Rams Draft Board
Aaron Williams actually went to my rival high school...haha.
Anyways, @sosa, I totally did not know that...that's really bad news for him. This is actually my first day to check out football news again for awhile, haven't had time to get on recently. Marcus Cannon was one of my favorite guards a few months.

Re: Av's Day 2 Rams Draft Board
I can top that; my high school team played Mikel LeShoure's high school in a 7 on 7 tournament at the University of Illinois. Alas only skill players were allowed to go, no lineman
Everyone said how lucky they were that it was two hand touch, not tackle, because LeShoure would have killed them! Since then we have liked to track his progress, and I wouldn't mind one bit if he is a Ram come tomorrow.
Realllly should be studying for finals, don't professors know the NFL Draft is a big deal?

Re: Av's Day 2 Rams Draft Board
Torrey Smith would make my year, but I feel it is very unlikely he could fall to us.
A defeated look of consternation, dissappointment, or even pain. The name derives from the look one often gets when challenged by a large BM.
