    Grant I could see being franchised. Samuel, on the other hand, I doubt. The Patriots are not big on paying a lot of money to individual players (ask Deion Branch).

    Of the big DEs that I see in FA not all of them can be Franchise Tagged.

    It works in our favour if there are a few good DEs in FA. But we have needs at LB and DT as well, just as long as we get one decent big name player with the amount of free cap space we have

    Well, the Rams have a lot (over $30 million) of cap room, so financially speaking, they should be able to make a serious run at one or more of the top FAs.
