    Barron to sign tender

“Alex is planning on having the best year of his career … I believe Alex will show that he’ll be one of the best tackles in the NFC.” from Barrons agent

Barron’s best work came in 2009 and 2007, when he played left tackle. from JT

I am NOT a Barron fan however, with him on the line and a commitment to actually BEING ON THE LINE MENTALLY, we could have a nice pass blocking O line to help young Sam stay upright, while waiting for WRs to get open.

Man, its been A LONG TIME, since we as Rams fans could say that our O line is a strength, but this year I really believe it could be .

    GO RAMS!!!

Last year it was a strength? I must have missed that news bulletin. To me it looked more like a squad of walking wounded.

I found the whole quote elsewhere. Here it is:
“Alex is planning on having the best year of his career … I believe Alex will show that he’ll be one of the best tackles in the NFC.” from Barrons agent. "And while we're at it, I have a long stretch of seaside property in Kansas that I will sell for a good price. Okay, now look at this hand, look at this hand; Oh, what's that, I pulled a quarter out of your ear!"
"Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

So in previous years he planned not to have the best year of his career?

Our O-line was not a strength! Why did we just draft Saffold then?
Jackson did well last year because he's a beast. And I expect him to do even better this year.

Barron has a lot to prove and he's feeling the heat with Saffold being drafted. But competition is exactly what Spag's likes. This could be a good year.

we just drafted Saffold because we need an upgrade on the right side of the line, we can both have our opinions.

"This is the year, I can feel it!"

--Alex Barron, right before running into a motionless defensive end.

If he signs & the Westbrook thing falls through, how long will it be before the first "Trade The Slug For The Thug" thread appears, ie trade Barron to the Bills for Lynch ?

I dont think it will comes if westbrook is signed, I'd rather just pick someone up in the draft.
