Re: BBQ Makes a Mock
I'm really not much of a Moses fan. He's had a horrible senior year and while he does add an additional pass rushing presence he leaves a lot to be desired against the run IMO.

Re: BBQ Makes a Mock
Well, Nick, given what was available in this mock who would you have selected at 17?

Re: BBQ Makes a Mock
That's the problem; there isn't a clear cut better choice. The only other choices there may be Okoye (not a first rounder, BBQ?), Posluszny, or Woodley. I'm not a fan of this strategy but I guess you could consider Ginn there as well. But defensively, Moses is probably the best choice.
I generally don't like having to make that choice though so hopefully how BBQ perceives the rankings at the end of Week 17 isn't how they'll actually be.

Re: BBQ Makes a Mock
Admittedly, I left Okoye out because he hasn't shown me brilliance as of yet. He's solid. I like Okam better, and he fell a bit from where I have him. And, unfortunately, those rankings... hate to break it to you... we're picking a little closer to number 1. Seeing as the season has ended, I guess that's a good thing. Woodley played well against SC today, and that could see his stock shoot up a bit too. But at 13th, look for Patrick Willis.
Man o man. I so badly wanted to draft Ted Ginn Jr, but this offseason, and i may be forced to read this over and over and over and over and you get the point...DEFENSE FIRST.
That said, if we can solve our problems in Free agency...:
