Re: Bears | Briggs re-signs with team
How do Bernard Berrian, Tommy Kelly, Justin Smith, Jerry Porter, Drayton Florence and second teir players of the sort make more money than the best defensive FA available.

Re: Bears | Briggs re-signs with team
I don't think Briggs made a single free agent visit anywhere. It seems the interest in him was a lot of smoke but not a lot of fire. Makes you wonder if he really was the best defensive free agent available or if teams thought he may have been a product of the system and the talent around him.

Re: Bears | Briggs re-signs with team
I've read reports lately that Briggs is considered a solid WLB but that the WLB is just not considered a difficult roster position to fill right now. My guess is that and that he stayed home in Chicago are major factors.

Man. He wouldve been a decent pick up for when players like Pisa die on us again.
