Re: Bears released Muhammad
I don't think we do. We are old enough as it is. We need to get younger and faster

I can see it. And they'll all be gone in 5 seasons.

Re: Bears released Muhammad
Um, no.
Too old, he's done little in Chicago, slowing down, hasn't had a fantastic season since his days with Carolina.

At this point, he is a step down from Bennett. The grass is not always greener.

Re: Bears released Muhammad
True, but you'd suck in Chicago too if you're a possession receiver and the QB an only throw bombs and to the other team.
This is not an argument to pick him up, however, I think he'll make a fine acquisition for other teams, such as Miami, Houston, Washington, Minnesota, the Whiners, or even Tennessee.

Re: Bears released Muhammad
WHYis it when ANY team let's go anyone who use too be a someone , the RAMS , ( JUST HAVE TO GET THIS PLAYER.) ya , let's get him , instead of the 2nd coming of the greatest show on terf , we can have the ( greatest show of wal-mart senior citizen door greeters .)
if we sign FA's this year , it will be very few , we are going too build through the draft . this is long term for the team for now on .
ANYWAY, if we were going to sign a big name wide receiver , we would be going after CAPTAIN CRUNCH , not CORN FLAKES .

Re: Bears released Muhammad
I can't think of a single free agent I'd rather have less than Muhammad.
Every single free agent is a "must have" if you read these boards. We don't need Muhammad, and we certainly don't need to add another $5M to our salary cap from the WR position.
