WOW, Marshall is worth way more then two 3rd's. When the Fin's get a qb, i wonder who he'll pass to now.

The Bears wanted VJax and Mario but couldn't get both. Strange deal, but it gives Cutler a better receiver then Roy.
I wouldn't of made this deal. I'm not the biggest fan of Marshall, although he is physically talented.

WR Brandon Marshall was expected to sign one of the most lucrative receiver contracts in league history following the trade that sent him from Denver to Miami.

And he did just that.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Marshall, who was playing under a one-year, $2.5 million contract, had $47.5 million tacked onto his deal over four more years.
That brings the grand total to an eye-popping five-year, $50 million contract.
$24 million of that is guaranteed.
The previous benchmark for receivers was Larry Fitzgerald's four-year, $40 million deal, which Marshall matched plus one year.

He has an 11 million cap hit the next 3 seasons. Even VJax will probably have less than that.

Apparently one of the reasons Manning wasn't so sure on going to Miami is because he wasn't sure of playing with Marshall. Maybe this is the reason that the Dolphins traded him

Also, Marshall has been talking about a reunion with Jay Cutler for a while.

I wouldn't necessarily suggest this move takes the Bears out of the Vincent Jackson race though, because who else do they have at WR? But they are probably more inclined to spend money at a different position

I'm not bothered that the Rams didn't do this though. Even without being under Spags and the 4 Pillars, I'm not sure Marshall is a great veteran player to have in the locker room
