Re: Beastly Mock Draft+ FA
Do you think we will take Oher over Smith? Or is this just incase Smith doesn't declare? Just curious.
Pretty solid mock you put up. However, I would rather get a fullback than another halfback.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Devaney, if you care about this team... fire the offensive coordinator!!!!

Re: Beastly Mock Draft+ FA
Man that is way too realistic of a free agent pool
We need to grab Julius Peppers, Matt Birk, Bart Scott, Terrel Suggs, Jordan Gross, and Namnadi Asimigoa. Oh yeah and make a trade for Matt Cassel.

Re: Beastly Mock Draft+ FA
I don't see us getting a full back with a 4th round pick, but if we get a conditional pick I could see us taking a Full back or picking up an undrafted FA, because I could the best FB in the draft not even getting drafted, because the position is all but dead and teams are using 2 TE sets and H-backs, but it wouldn't hurt to get a lead blocker.
I do think we would take Oher over Smith. Oher's feat in this draft are only rivaled by Jason Smith. Andre Smith's weakness on the other hand is his feat. People have been downgrading Oher for his one bad game against LSU, but not downgradin Smith for his last 2 Games, where he was suspended and did not play well against florida. Oher is talll and powerfull with Long arms. Smith may only be 6'3 with short arms which is a terrible combination for an NFL LT and making him the shortest in the league. Everyone tlaks about Smith being the drving force behind Alabamas dominat run game, but Oher is driving force behind a dominat run and pass offense. This is a great class to grab a dominant line man, Oher and smith may end up not being the to best tackles in this draft. I think Andre Smith could end being the best dominat guard in the league and Oher could end being of the best Left Tackles in the league. IMO it is more worth our while to have one of the best Left takcles with the second overall pick than a guy who will be one the best guards.

Re: Beastly Mock Draft+ FA
I'm not quite sure why Oher is falling. People complained about Jake Long not being a LT, but Smith might not even be a tackle. IMO Jason Smith or Eugene Monore could pop up and take the number 2 spot from them if questions about Ohers talent keep popping up we determine that Smith is not an NFL LT. Only time will tell.

Re: Beastly Mock Draft+ FA
Good point. Now, I have heard nothing but good things about Andre Smith, not so much of Oher. However, when I watched the Bama and Florida game, I saw Smith get manhandled by the Gators. Also he was suspended (for agent reasons.)
I don't know how people complained about Jake Long. He turned out to be quite the player the Dolphins needed. I want that kind of caliber on the team. Is it Smith? Oher? Monroe? J. Smith? Who knows. I just hope that the team gets the right player.
I love the layout of your mock though.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Re: Beastly Mock Draft+ FA
Wellllllllllllllll, I read 9 defenders on that list not 2 .
SINTIM-LB
HAMLIN-S
OSAISAI-CB
O.J.-S
BARTELL-CB
CRAFT-CB
V.A. - DE
EVENS-DT
WYMMS-DT
And they look like solid pickups , so RICHTREE , stop being such a nay-sayer on ever little thing , just because he didn't pick someone like KENNY BRITT or somebody from RUTGERS .

I like the first three picks of your draft......I think Clint Sintum probably goes at the end of the 1st round though......probably to a team like the Patriots at #24 overall.
