If Cyprien drops to the 3rd and we nab him, I will run in the nude outside the dorms while doing parkour.

We're going streaking! We're going up the quad and to the gymnasium.

I voted for J. Franklin and would love any of P. Thomas, Rambo or Wolfe at S. I am sure the guys have more fun instore for us yet in the draft! We got to kick back and enjoy the ride mates... Fun thing will be seeing where all these QB's are going to land, I really like Tyler Bray and EJ was my fave in the draft so not surprised he went first. Sad for Geno and was nice of Aaron to send him some pep up chat and support, he is a classy guy.

My dream round three is that safeties fall due to a run on QB's and WR's in the 2nd while the downward pressure on running backs continue.

At Buffalo's #3, I'd go with UCLA's Franklin, who could very well be there in the high 3rd, and then want Phillip Thomas at Atlanta's, but don't know if he could go that farr. Swearinger and Cyprien are locks for the 2nd in my mind. But the two Thomas' and Rambo should be in the mix in the 3rd, and I'd trade a lower round pick or one from mext year(a round 4 for a "free" move, perhaps) to move up from Atlanta's pick to secure one easy.

Warford with the first pick in the 3rd round. I hope everybody and their momma starts picking up those CB's, WR's, and QB's in the second and forget about an OG from Kentucky. Warford would maul over linebackers all day next to Jake, and could learn a thing or two from Wells and Dahl. Picking him up could give us the best offensive line we've had in quite awhile.

With our next 3rd rounder I'm hoping for Swearinger or Shamarko Thomas, unless Warford is gone then that priority moves up. RB, DT, and CB could all wait til afterwards. Terrence Williams is another prospect to look out for in the 3rd if the Rams feel like they're not done adding more to the arsenal.

I really hope its Jon Cyprien, but more realistically I can live with Christine Michael/Marcus Lattimore, and Shamarko Thomas/Phillip Thomas.

I think the first third round pick could be a good spot for a safety - obviously Cyprien if he's there but that's unlikely, I like Philip Thomas a lot as a ballhawking free safety for this defense, the Rams brought in Shamarko Thomas as their only safety visit so he's someone to keep an eye on, Jim Thomas reported that the Rams were at one point high on JJ Wilcox so watch out for him. There should be some decent value on the offensive line and at running back there as well.

    Again folks, that's Lucida Console.

    Lucida. Console.

Now, as to the question.......assuming no trades (which is like assuming no STDs in a brothel), I'd say the availability of most of that list at #71 could only mean that they have been diagnosed with ebola. However, I think Shamarko Thomas might be there, and would prove to be good value.

I don't see Cyprien, or any of the top WR or CB getting out of rd 2, same for DT, DE, and LB.

The guys who cold be there in round three that fit the Rams are:

    WR T Williams, D. Rogers, A. Dobson
    RB C. Michael, L. Bell
    OL B. Winters , K Holmes, B. Schwenke
S DJ Swearingin, P Thomas, D. Williams, S. Thomas, T. Jefferson, TJ McDonald
    CB J. Poyer, D Amenson, R. Alford
    LB J. Porter, Z Gooden,
    DT B. Logan, J. Jenkins, S. Moore
    Barry Waller

Rambo! But I wonder if it would help him or hurt him to be reunited with Ogletree.

Re: Best of the Rest: Who are you hoping for on Day 2?

Any of the following: RBs Ball, Franklin, Bell, Michael; OL Warford, Watson, Thomas, Winters, Armstead; S Cyprien, Swearinger, Wilcox, either Thomas.

I don't expect Franklin or Ball to be there when the Rams pick in the third, so Bell or Michael may be more realistic choices.

Warford, Armstead, and Watson will likely be gone. Dallas Thomas and Brian Winters are intriguing for me because they could line up inside at guard or outside at tackle, and I think the Rams would like that kind of versatility depending on Saffold's future.

At safety, I don't expect Cyprien to be there. I think Philip Thomas (ball hawk), Shamarko Thomas (pre-draft visit), and J.J. Wilcox (versatile) make the most sense. Swearinger, Wolff, Rambo, etc are also fine choices.

Honestly I have been debating the same thing. At the end of the day I think it would benefit both of them since they have a familarity with eachother and confidence that the other will perform and motivate one another just like in college. The one thing I'm worried about... going out with a old friend and getting in trouble! lol

I wonder, if Christine Michael was on the Rams radar before, is he still now seeing that they already got one guy with red flags.

Who knows, that might all have to do with the feedback the regime got if they did their background checks on Michael.
