bills fan here, trade idea
kyle williams, defensive tackle (6'1 308) for 33 overall. kyle was an alternate in the probowl last year. 26 years old in the prime of his career. he doesn't fit our defense since we switched to the 3-4. we need clausen.
what do you guys think about that?
good luck in the rest of the draft

Re: bills fan here, trade idea
Your gonna have to offer more than that
We've seen that the going concenus for good players traded has been a 5th rounder, and mcnabb was a 2nd rounder, so keep walking

Re: bills fan here, trade idea
No not even close. Sorry but players like him don't bring near that much in trade. We also need other positions more then DT unless your name is Suh. We need DE, OLB, DB, TE, WR, OT (Barron don't fit long term), and RB (backup).

Kyle Williams
66 tackles, 4 sacks and a FF. not bad for a dt. gets better every year.

Re: bills fan here, trade idea
I'm not saying Kyle Williams isn't good, but I doubt the Rams front office would feel comfortable trading the second overall for a guy that nobody has really heard of outside of Buffalo. Rumor has it that Washington may try to move Albert Haynesworth for the same reason (poor fit and doesn't want to play in their system), and he could likely be had for less than the #33 pick.

Re: bills fan here, trade idea
Not for a second rounder, my friend.
If you want Clausen and want to include Williams in the package, it'll probably take your Second and Williams for 33 overall. I'd be more incline to pull the trigger there.
IMO, if you want Clausen, you'll have to pay. I'd expect us to have been fielding calls from more than ten teams in order to negotiate the best offer. We have nothing but leverage at this point. Someone is going to want to jump ahead of the Vikings and we will hit pay dirt.
I wouldn't rule out a Rams trade for Kindle, either. I think the Dolphins could be as likely a team as any to make a move up. It's seven spots in between and it would probably cost them a third.

Re: bills fan here, trade idea
Yeah akcash, like a normal fan, you over value your own players. I wouldn't trade our #33 pick for Hanesworth solo, little lone for Kyle Williams, but that's already been said. If the Bills were serious in trying to get up to the top of the round to grab their QB of choice, you better be talking your 2nd, Williams, and Lynch, at the very least.
I believe!
