No. I'd prefer Bing but we got Alston who will be able to play SS. And we got Tye Hill. And we have Atogwe, and Jerome Carter. Were set!

I agree, Alston will likely stick at OLB.
I don't think safety is a huge need though, if the Rams plan on moving Bartell. Besides, I doubt either fall to the fifth, which is where our next pick is. Then again, I didn't see them falling out of the first day either. We have bigger needs to fill though.
Alston could move to SS. 6'1" 224lbs, 4.52 40!

Alston is a fast athletic linebacker who will provide depth and could compete for playing time. I would be shocked if he was drafted as a safety.
