bobby massie ot or ronell lewis olb anyone at top of 4th round
Who do you want at the top of the fourth round. How about offensive tackle Bobby Massie or outside linebacker ronnell lewis?
Personally, i hope there is an outside linebacker or starting caliber guard that fisher likes at this point.
Any other suggestions?

Not sure why Bobby Massie has dropped this far. He could challenge Jason Smith for the RT spot today. Still several good OLBs out there, though I figure Lewis is more of a 3-4 guy. How about Nigel Bradham?

I really like Bradham at OLB. but we have to take a good look at Massie. He could take over at RT and we could try Smith at G.

Re: bobby massie ot or ronell lewis olb anyone at top of 4th round
Massie seems like he might top the list of possible 2012 starters still available in round four (excluding punters). I could see taking Lewis as a strongside 'backer. It would somewhat fit the trend of taking high risk, high reward players that we've seen so far, but Bradham is probably the more technically skilled.
I'm not sure that a fourth round receiver does a whole lot for us at this point. Jones or Givens probably wouldn't crack our top three and might not make the roster at all with the glut of players competing for those last couple of roster slots.

Bobbie Massie can come in and challenge Smith at the RT position. Remember Smith has that huge check coming his way next year and if he doesnt perform well we will cut him. Massie would presumably take over at RT. for now though he can fill the HUGE hole at LG....plus the dude paves the road for Steven and Pead

The more i think about it, the more i think that massie is the best guy left on the board and gives us real flexibility on the offensive line. We can try moving smith inside to guard or give massie a chance to compete with smith and/or develop into the starter next year when smith balloons to 11 mill in cap. Its not a perfect fit given the fact that we just agreed to guarantee smith 4 million this year, but to me, the question is whether fisher thinks smith can move inside.
In addition, from a depth perspective, both smith and saffold are coming off injuries. Another solid offensive tackle can't hurt.

Ronell Lewis is a 3-4 OLB. Why would we take him?

I didnt realize that lewis was a 3-4 guy, i just saw he was the highest rated linebacker on the outside that mayock had left. Cross him off if he is a 3-4 guy. I still like massie.

I would only take Massie if:
1) Fisher thinks he is a good RT, and moves Jason Smith to LG
2) Fisher thinks Massie can play LG.

I'd love an OLB, Bobby Massie, or any of the afore mentioned players, but Arkansas WR Joe Adams' versatility will be hard to pass up.

We have to get a guard. We got lucky enough that there was a lot of talent left today, but a lot of guys got taken. I am 100% disappointed that we didn't get a starting left guard at #39. To me there was too much talent to pass up. But I'm going to go ahead and trust in Fisher

Re: bobby massie ot or ronell lewis olb anyone at top of 4th round
Bobby Massie if Fisher & Co. believe he can play at either LG or RT. The fact that he has dropped this far leads me to believe there are some issues that the fans/media are not aware of, but even then the value seems exceptional at the top of the fourth.
I wouldn't be too upset if we end up with Nigel Bradham, though I doubt he'll be there in the middle of the fifth. I confess that I didn't exactly do much research on prospects for the later rounds, so Bradham is one of the only OLBs available that I'm somewhat familiar with. As a Wolfpacker, I should be more supportive of a Terrell Manning pick, and that would probably be good value in the fifth, but I just don't feel like he has the instinct and tools to deal with players once they get outside.
