Boldin?
It seems increasingly clear to me that Anquan Boldin won't be with the Cards next year. He's still under contract though, right? I wonder what it would take for the Rams to get him; and, what do you think of the idea? He's still relatively young and clearly a #1 caliber receiver. Big trades rarely happen in the NFL, but I wonder what it would take to make this work.

Re: Boldin?
While i would love to get Boldin (i think hes as good as fitz, just more injury prone)...i just dont see the cardinals trading him to a division team, plus he's probably going to merit a first round pick; second round at the latest.

Re: Boldin?
Yeah, a big deal is that he's in our division, which would make it much more difficult to trade for him. However, if he is released, then signing with a division rival might actually better our chances of landing him in free agency, should we choose to pursue him.

Re: Boldin?
I'm not sure I see a situation where the Cardinals trade him within the division.

Re: Boldin?
Is there anyone in Arizona happy with their contract besides Larry Fitzgerald. Dockett and Boldin aren't going to be FA's anytime soon, but they constantly complain about their contracts. Dockett says he wants to go to a team in the division, but that's not happening and neither is Boldin.
If there is a cardinal we should go after it is Karlos Dansby who is actually an FA. Since the cards dont pay people maybe they will franchise him for the 35th year in a row.

Re: Boldin?
It would be nice to go after him. I wouldn't trade him for any of our picks. We could easily find starters with our first three rounders.
If he gets released, you bet we should pursue him.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Devaney, if you care about this team... fire the offensive coordinator!!!!

Re: Boldin?
no chance he is released...if anything, he might be a free agent in 2 years but he's already about 30 and might be slowing down by then.
