Well Brady may not be a good fit for the Browns it seems!

The Rams could have a QB from Notre Dame starting in the next year or two, but it will be Jimmy Clausen, not Brady Quinn.

If the Browns are willing to take a fifth round pick (which they likely won't because they're under no pressure to move Quinn), then I'd be intrigued. I don't think he's done well in Cleveland, but I don't think that's a particularly good situation and I don't think Mangini has given him a completely fair chance. If he's available this coming offseason, it might be interesting to pull off a trade at that point and then free up our first day picks for another position, especially if we aren't completely in love with this year's group of QBs.

Yea, I agree that this years QB crop may be down...

I can't stand hearing any more excuses about offensive line.

We need to fix the situation immediatly. Especially if we want to stick a young QB back there we need to have one more player that we can count on. If you said to me, "I can fix your offensive line problems by game #1 of next year, but you have to play with Vick, Quinn, or a 2nd round QB I would take that.

Hopefully, we can get an OL man in Free Agency.

You almost got it right. The Rams could have an Irish QB next year, but it will be Colt McCoy!

Well, we'll all get a chance to check him out tomorrow in the Red River Shootout.

I'm @ Mountaineer Field geting ready for the Friends of Coal Bowl, but from what I understand, Bradford is out and McCoy is having perhaps his second underwhelming game in as many weeks? Ugh... The Rams may finally be in the market for a franchise QB and it seems like these guys are trying to play their way out of consideration!

OU's defense is playing out of its mind today.

That said, McCoy is doing kind of "meh"

I agree Colt McCoy's play wasn't good today completing 21 of 39 for 127 yards (he was sick by the way and his receivers had the dropsies or didn't run their routes properly all day), but he did answer his critics in regards to his toughness and durability to play in the NFL. He was sacked or knocked down by OU defense all day long, but got up and lead his team to another win. Bradford on the other hand showed just how fragile he is. The Bradford bandwagon is going to be missing a wheel after this week. Clausen's stock is rising with a decent game against USC, although he totally missed the open receiver at the end of the game. To be fair, it also looked like he was set on throwing to the under route on the left side as he came out of his break, but the receiver fell trying to make the cut.

Yep, Bradford looks he needs to stay another year to prove he's not just another injury waiting to happen.

McCoy had a chance to shine in a big game, on a big stage, but he didn't come close to making a statement.

Clausen isn't making much of a statement either.

i like Brady i think he`s better than what he`s been able/allowed to show in Cleveland..he`s been badly coached and is worth being picked up by someone else to see if he can succeed in a different environment..but off the back of what he`s been able to prove about his own ability..they cant expect a team to give up too much to find out just how good or bad he truly is... his stock must have dropped from where it was when he came out of Notre Dame..just be interesting to see how far.

bad management makes their employees underachieve--- which is why you see 'cancer-type' players leave a team and do well elsewhere. Quinn may fall into this category jsut as Braylon Edwards did.

Sounds familair-- because this is what has and is happening to our Rams.

Anyone still interested in Quinn becoming a Ram after watching his performance tonight against the Ravens? He didn't get a lot of help, but he was still horrible and has zero ability to throw the ball downfield. Watching his last few deep passes sail ten yards out of bounds, was embarrassing to witness. I actually felt sorry for him, even though I've disliked him since his days at Notre Dame. His future does not look bright.

Yeah, I noticed that also. What's up with his deep ball going out of bounds? He didn't even give his receivers a chance to make a play. Granted the Browns game plan (if you can call it that) was wretched and poorly conceived, but Quinn certainly didn't do anything to suggest that he is a franchise QB at all.

Browns defense looked good though so they have at least got something going there.

    WHAT SAY YE?

Receivers? Is that what they are called? None of them had a clue.

Brady Quinn has been a Browns fan all his life. I really don't think he wants to play anywhere else. Not that he would have a say in the matter.
