Brian Quick @ 33?
" ESPN's Chris Mortensen on #Rams pick at 33: "I'm gonna throw out a name for you to think about: Brian Quick from Appalachian State."
- Evan Silva
I'd like Quick. He's 6'4 and ran in the 4.4's I believe. He is up there with Randle and the rest of those guys.

Re: Brian Quick @ 33?
He's definitely an athletic guy, big target, and can get behind coverage downfield. There's a lot to like from a pure potential point of view. He did drop a sure TD catch back late in a semi-final playoff game (FCS) that would have put them in the Finals, but, he still can make a lot of big time plays for the team who gets him. I've seen him in person and on TV and I like him.

I like him. However, I think he would still be there at 45.

Re: Brian Quick @ 33?
I been tooting this horn for a while now! Think of Jerry Rice... small school or lower competetion doesn't matter. He is a man amongst boys! I'm not sure at #33 but our #39 pick yes... I could see that!

Re: Brian Quick @ 33?
Several people said Jenkins was moving up draft boards, so it wasn't that shocking. Also, I just said Quick would be available at 45. I didn't say I wanted to wait, I would still take a different receiver at 33. Don't assume that people are wanting to wait on receivers. I am not going to panic and suggest the Rams take Quick at #33 when IMO there are 3 better receivers available. I do not know if the Rams feel the same way as me though.

I dont think Quick gets past Buffalo at #40. We must take him at #39 if we want to delay it.

Re: Brian Quick @ 33?
Those of you who are sure he'll be there at #45... would you have said the same about A.J. Jenkins being there at #33? I bet you would have, so maybe you're not as certain as you think you are.
As far as Quick goes, I don't have him in my Top 50 mainly because it is difficult to evaluate a player who played at a second tier level in college. His size, Combine numbers and stats are very similar to Reuben Randle, so if the Rams see something in him, who am I to argue?
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Brian Quick @ 33?
That was my point. I believe if he were available, he'd be our pick at 33.
Quick, Randle and Jefferies aren't hugely different but if they wait until 39 and they take the 3rd WR taken of the night, fans aren't going to be happy. The Colts, Bronco's, Browns and a trade up could all take WRs before the Rams at 39.

Re: Brian Quick @ 33?
Brian Quick would be a terrible pick at 33 because you could trade back and get him or take him with 39 or 45. When you have 3 picks in the same round and there's a ton of value on the board you don't need to reach.

Re: Brian Quick @ 33?
Obviously nobody can be sure when he'll go off the board, but smart decision making consists of weighing where players are likely to go and drafting accordingly. I don't think you should draft players at the earliest spot you could conceivably think of them going off the board just because you fell in love with them.

Re: Brian Quick @ 33?
The only reason why I wouldn't like this pick is because S.Hill is the faster, bigger version of this guy that actually went to a DI school...
Randle is a route runner, but if the Rams are going athlete, it should be Hill > Quick...
Makes me think Randle is def the first pick and then the Rams will take a chance on an athletic WR later in the 3rd round
