Re: Brian Westbrook to visit St. Louis
If he's only used occasionally, his ability to stay healthy sky rockets, and he immediately becomes an asset. Certainly an upgrade over our current solutions.

Re: Brian Westbrook to visit St. Louis
Well we didn't draft. A runningback in the draft so I say it's likely we pick up westbrook soon.

Re: Brian Westbrook to visit St. Louis
off of rotoworld today:
According to Rams GM Billy Devaney, free agent Brian Westbrook's physical with the team Saturday went "fine."
It sounds like the Rams saw what they expected to see -- most likely that Westbrook's body is beat up, particularly in the lower half. Devaney said the sides are still in "talking stages." A deal doesn't appear to be imminent.

We'll see how this ends up.

Re: Brian Westbrook to visit St. Louis
Latest and greatest:
A St. Louis media source tells the Philadelphia Daily News that free agent Brian Westbrook did pass his physical with the Rams on Saturday.
The source says he "might very well" end up with the Rams. St. Louis is believed to be offering an incentive-laden deal for Westbrook to back up Steven Jackson. The problem is that Westbrook's bum knee and ankle joints don't hold up well on turf, which is what the Rams play their home games on. Westbrook was always held out when the Eagles practiced indoors.
