Re: Bring on the heat Beast 3.0

I love Suh, he's going to be a great player...but how is he going to help us score points? This draft is deep at the D-Line, we can find other players in the 2nd/3rd rounds that will be great in the NFL.

A QB taken now would do little or nothing in the way of turning the tide of a game. He'd get pounded just like our former "pro bowl Bulger". I dnt care if we draft Peyton Manning, what are you going to do when nobody can catch and nobody can block?

Hell, our kicker scores more points. Seriously.

this is the type of thinking that led to terrible drafting in the past

we need to draft the best player available. If its a QB, then fine. If its Suh, then fine. But if they rank Suh the best and we pass on him to take a QB just because we struggled with QB play this past season, then we are asking for trouble.

The only way i see the Rams taking a QB is if they trade down a few spots

There is no way golden tate would make anyone forget about desean jackson. tate is not as fast or deceptive as jackson.
as for clausen, if he's a franchise qb then would ND have a better record than 6-6?? I go to UConn n he was nothing special against us and wouldn't you love to have Suh, bring back atogwe and build the defense around those 2 with laurinitus, long, and possibly carriker? i say focus on the one young side of the ball with promise and go after offense in 3rd fourth rounds unless you can grab a good qb/wr 2nd.

I think we could go with Suh for #1 because in the third round i would love to see us draft Tony Pike, hes a great qb and i believe he can be the face of the franchise. Maybe even dan lefevour or how ever u spell it..all good 3rd round qb's

I just want to clarify that I would be by no means upset if we drafted Suh ...I just believe we need a QB. However, if we do go with Suh Rd1, then I really hope 2 and 3 we try and get some offensive weapons.
