Calvin Pace
This guy is a free agent and really stepped up big last season. He played at SLB and in some 3-4 formations last season for the Cardinals, and with us having the issue of Chillar being a looming FA I say we finally take from one of our division rivals and get this guy. He is only 27 years old and looks like he has a bright future. Thoughts?

Re: Calvin Pace
Big and versatile it would be interesting to see where Haslett uses him. I don't expect the FO to jump on him they seem to be content with Draft and Culberson

Re: Calvin Pace
In the 4-3, he's a better fit at defensive end but has basically been a first round bust there until the Cardinals implemented their hybrid 3-4 scheme last season. It'll depend on what he's looking for price-wise, but if we're speculating about bringing him in, I would imagine it would be more as a replacement for Raonall Smith as a situational pass rusher. I can't help but wonder if Pace will either price himself out of a situational role or if he may get some looks from some 3-4 teams like the Jets or the Bengals, who could be moving to a 3-4 next season.
