    Can we chill out after one day?

    There are tons of quality guards and tackles on the market. Would you rather them shell out 40 million dollars on Roger Saffold, or find quality in a handful of guards and tackles at 2-4/m per?

    I listed a few of those guys in another thread and was told they are all dumpster trash. THE SKY IS FALLING LOOK OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I look at that list and I must admit I do not see 'tons of quality tackles and guards.' I see a couple of guys that might be serviceable in the right situation - and fortunately we have a superior OL coach.

    If we hit on the draft, we'll be OK going forward.

    But I think the beginning of next year is going to be pretty tough, and in a division as brutal as the NFC West I can't see giving a few games until our guys gel be a viable path to get into the wild card.

    Even with a good draft, we are staring 8-8 right in the face.

    If we miss, the team could take a significant step back.

    Exactly, after striking out on all the FA's so far the Rams are going to have to ace this draft, and even then it won't guarantee us a playoff spot.
